We are planning on going to HHN on opening night. My question from experience how busy do you think it will be. Is it worth getting an express pass, or is it not needed.

Thanks

It's not as busy as later in the event, but it's still busy.

Last year opening night the regular queue for Myers house was 90 minutes.......WD was longer, can't remember exactly.

We always get EP.......wouldnt do it any other way.

But, if you didn't mind queueing you could do every house in one night. Are you planning to be in the holding area......gives you a good start on regular folks.

Never been before this will be out first time. Coming from the uk. Think we will properly get the express pass seems worth it.

We will be going for the day at the park then HHN in the evening.

Whats the holding area?

When the park is cleared of non HHN folk anyone with a horror night ticket is herded into an area and wait for release when first two houses open.

We usually go to the one at Finnegans. There they scan your HHN ticket.

Some people make a reservation for Finnegans as it gets massively busy......we never do though as I don't like Finnegan's but it's a popular choice.

so we can just stay i the park all day and just go to the holding area is it like well announced if you get what i mean.

We usually make our way into the park around 3pm and meet a friend in Louie's, around 4.45 we head over to the holding area......so I'm not usually around the park but I imagine it will be made clear what to do.

Good decision getting the EP. No way would I want to stand in those regular queues. Worth every penny.
