HHN Nights Announced

Thanks for the heads up guys (and gals). Our girls are definitely timid, so I think we'll skip HHN. May slip over to Mouseworld and do MNSSHP again, DH's AP is still valid so I can get them at the discounted $$. I just hate the thought of driving out there then back again. This is our second trip to US/IOA, first time the girls were young and found it a little intense. This trip they're both over 48" so we're better, 'cept for a few coasters. Maybe we'll bump into some of you.

Hi neighbor, I also live in Columbus, Ga. I had took my nephew to HHN13
he was 9 at the time , and we go ever year Columbus day week he still does not want to go back(to HHN anyway)I really did not think about how intense
it was for him, Heck if I was to attend somthing like that when I was 9(1969) I probably would have become a monk

I know what you mean tricky! We still haven't done Pope's Haunted Hayride for that reason. We usually go to WDW, this will be our first US/IOA trip since Feb. of '02. Were supposed to go next weekend but it wasn't meant to be. Were at the Yacht Club in April, DH said that June is too soon to make that drive down I-75 again. Plus, even though he blocked off those days for work he's been scheduled for 3 of the 4 days we would have been there. Hopefully October will work out. PLus, as hot as it's been here I can't imagine being down there on all that asphalt!

I have been to popes haunted farm and there is no comparison to HHN
at all , the only thing is there both based on halloween, popes is alot less
scarry , young kids would enjoy it( of course they might jump a time or two)
Universal is king of horror and they really do a good job at it...hands down.

If you ever get a chance to attend DO IT!!!!

We're doing MNSSHP on Friday the 6th and HHN on Saturday the 7th.
What we've done in the past: We've made reservations for our girls to stay at the Polynesian Resort kids club, The NeverLand Club, while we went to HHN. (We weren't even staying on-site, we stayed at timeshares) Now, my girls are 12 and 13, and let me tell you, they're still bummed that they can't go into the club anymore. They are very adamant about not going to HHN (they've seen my photos!) and I don't know what to do with them this year. Me and DH are definitely going.
