HHN Newbie Questions - Would appreciate help

My boyfriend and I are planning on going on Sunday 10/7. Neither one of us has ever been to HHN before. I plan on getting 2 day FL Res tickets with Stay and Scream and the EP for HHN. I have a FL drivers license but he is from GA, will he be able to get in with a FL ticket?

I have AAA so I wasnt sure if I should get tickets from there and then be able to add S&S or get them through the Universal website. I went and looked and I would have to pick them up at the machine. Which would you recommend? I used AAA tickets back in May.

Will we need EP during the day or should the crowds be light? We went memorial day weekend and stayed at the HRH so we had EP for day and it was great, but dont really want to break the bank. I have some choice hotel reward points that will get us a free room at the clarion or comfort inn sun night and monday so I was planning on doing that.

Are there any suggesstions on which park to end up in for the stay and scream?

What kind of crowds should we expect for sunday day and monday day, also HHN sunday night? Will we be able to do everything?

I was planning on getting to the parks early Sunday when they open and leave in the afternoon for a rest and then return to Stay and Scream, what time should we be back to be in the park for the Stay and Scream?

Do they let you take bags into the houses, or do you have to put them in lockers? Also I read if your in the park before it closes you dont have to go through metal detectors, are their items they dont let you bring in? Do you have to go through them if you in IOA for S&S? Sometimes the BF likes to take his flask to save a little $$$.

I'll take any recommendations on plans and what to see and in what order since I have no experience. I have been reading all the posts since I planned our trip back in May. They have been so helpful.

Not sure about that one. Do you have an AP? If so, you can use your discount to purchase his.

As long as you have a valid day ticket, you can upgrade for that night.

I doubt you'll need the EP during the day.

Since HHN is in the Studios this year, you would need to be there before the park closes to make it easy.

The crowds will be light during the day until the afternoon...then you will see the crowds coming in for HHN.

You should be in the park before they close.

call them and ask about him being from GA! I know GA Res get Fla discounts on the resort rooms and packages. DO NOT take a flask! They have drink specials for the stay and scream area, just get a nice buzz going before the event. You will save some money that way... lol. OMG, I am such a lush.
