Just wondering whether anyone is playing this online/in-park game that Universal has devised for this year's HHN.
The game has been in BETA testing with the online portion available about 2 weeks before the in-park components came online. There are games (mostly luck based) that you can play online and tasks to complete in the parks. For example, they post a riddle that you have to solve and then visit the specified houses in the correct order, scanning your game passcard at the exit of each house to get your points.
This past weekend they were play-testing another game task in Finnegan's on Thursday and Sunday nights. We had an opportunity to talk a bit with the game's creative team about it on Thursday night when we stumbled upon the play-test.
Word is that it will be out of the test phase starting this week though that is always subject to change.
You can register online through the HHN website to access the online games. For in-park play, they've been distributing game passcards on Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights between 6pm and 9pm in the stroller rental area. Not sure if that distribution pattern will continue moving forward but worth checking out if you want to try the game.
