Ok..we are going to try and do both parks on 10/24 and then stay and scream.....and here for your help are the questions..

1) We have some tickets from awhile back we would like to use...sooooooooo, we cannot buy the stay and scream tickets on line...any chance they will sell out or will we be able to upgrade when we get there?

2) Any idea on how busy it might be on Wed 10/24?

3) You cannot buy Express pass online for that date for the day or HHN...does that mean they are completely sold out or will we be able to buy Express pass at the park when we get there.

Here are some answers for you:

1) You do not have to buy a special S & S ticket...as long as you have a valid day and HHN ticket for the same date, you can do S & S.

2) Wednesday 10/24 is probably going to be pretty busy as the local kids are out of school Thursday and Friday...it's called Hell Week.

3) You can check with Guest Services about the EP's...they usually hold some back but check into it as soon as you arrive.

I'm in the same boat as you. I have annual passes to pick up for my husband and me and ordered the $86 passes for the three kids. I can't order stay and scream either. I was able to order the express passes for 10/24 HHN for all 5 of us yesterday with electronic pickup. This is the link to the order page: http://urlx.org/universalstudios.com/70391. I'm assuming/hoping that once I'm there, I can get stay and scream tickets without any problems and I'll already have my express passes purchased. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too!

I was able to order the express passes for 10/24 HHN for all 5 of us yesterday with electronic pickup. I'm assuming/hoping that once I'm there, I can get stay and scream tickets without any problems and I'll already have my express passes purchased.

OK...I'm assuming you're talking about the actual HHN tickets...right? If so...you will not have to pay anything extra for S & S. All you need is a valid day ticket and HHN ticket for the date you're going. S & S is free...no additional tickets to purchase. If you don't have a HHN ticket for the date you're going, you will need to purchase the actual HHN ticket. Make sure you're in the Studios BEFORE they close and with tickets in hand, you will see the holding area near Jimmy Neutron. That's where you'll hang out until they open NOES around 5:45pm and you'll be able to do 3-4 more houses before you even need to use the EP. DO NOT use the EP if the wait is until 15 mins...you can go back and do the houses again with Express when the line is really long.

Well, since I'm in the "it's been a year, so I'm gonna splurge on this vacation" mood I ordered EPS for Wed the 24th. So now we have EPs for Wed the 24th and Friday the 26th. We have 2 days without (Sun the 21st and Thurs the 25th) and 2 days with. The price for Wed is $35 less than the price for Thurs, so, what the heck! I figure they are going to be gone soon, so I jumped on em' while I could. I think this is a version of the "Macraven Vacation"

You know...I completely forgot about the upgrade ticket. I guess I'm used to doing the AP thing where S & S is free.

..Ok, I just called Universal at 407-363-8000...and while you cannot buy stay and scream upgrades on line without buying park tickets you can buy them over the phone...which I just did...$28.69 each...so I have my upgrades..
