Pretty sure I know the answer to this- but asking to be certain. You can use the EP one time per house just like the purchased EP during regular park hours are one time per ride- right?

And are they priced the same as the daytime passes are? Tiered prices depending on expected crowd level?

Thanks!

Once per house and any attraction that is open for HHN. They're priced based on the day of the week and anticipated crowd size.

Thanks.

I didn't see prices on the HHN tickets page for express passes for HHN, are they not out yet, or am I just not seeing them?

the express passes haven't been released yet..
(neither have the rip tours.)

when they do come out, don't be surprised on their costs.

probably will cost more than the regular one night ticket.

a couple of years the rof and the ff could be bought w/express included.

this year that bonus is not going to happen.

i'm guessing that UO can make a lot more money by selling the express separately.

Oh, ouch. Where did you hear this? There's been speculation that those options wouldn't be available, but I haven't heard any confirmation yet. I'm not doubting you, just curious. I quite enjoyed my Rush of Fear w/Express :(

what has been posted on the hhn ticket site, did not include the express with the ROF or the FF passes.

the express passes and the rip tours have not been listed on the ticket site yet.

i am just thinking that UO would make a lot more money if they sold the express passes for hhn separately.

it would be a gold mine for them and they probably know it.

hhn has grown each year and with that, peeps are buying the cheapest passes they have out there to save money for repeat visits to hhn during the season.

there would be a lot less complaining about long express lines if they were sold individually and not with the pass set up that is listed now.
less express passes sold will mean shorter wait lines in the ex line.

i have no inside information on or if the express passes will be sold separately per night/day of the week, etc.

think about it.
why would UO start the advance selling of hhn tickets/passes now as they are listed...

first 10 nights of hhn: ROF
FF
FF+ (includes the weekend date)

nothing about express is listed in the above passes on the hhn site.

it would be fantastic to have the tickets/passes come out with an option to upgrade to add express to them.
something we all have to wait and see what comes out later this summer for the tickets/ep.

based on my experience of past hhn, i have seen changes made to the passes after hhn started.

who knows, maybe there will be changes/adjustments to the tickets this summer.

my hope is the same as yours and other homies that go to hhn.
make the option of adding the exp to the ROF and FF......

I won't believe this until I see it on the website. There are too many rumors floating around about this just because Express is not available right now. They have not released all the prices at the same time for years now. I always wait until August before I get my ticket because Express has not been priced yet.

If it doesn't happen I will disappointed but not crushed. I did HHN many years w/o Express so it's not a big deal.

How did you find it to be without the express?
I've never been to HHN. My hubby and I are thinking we will need to do at least 2 nights.

if you go to the stay and scream area, you will be released to start the houses once the all clear is issued by security to the TM's.

you can go thru 3 of the houses easily as there isn't much of a crowd at stay and scream.

the general public is let into the park at 6:30.
many times you are released from the stay and scream holding section around 6.

then, stay ahead of the crowds to avoid long waits in the lines into the houses.

do the rides in the daytime and catch the houses, streets and any show you want to see during hhn.

there are some nights that buying the express pass are very well worth it.
especially on a saturday night.

you can use the express pass only one time per house/ride.
i always buy the express pass and use it when the lines are 25 minutes long.
i like to do repeats in the houses so i wait until i have to use my epp.

It's not too bad but you have to concentrate on the houses and not the rides that are open. I would get there at opening and do however many houses I could do until I couldn't stand it any longer and then come back. Once I came back, I would immediately start with the houses I hadn't seen yet. My first HHN in 2004 took two nights to do. With Express you have the luxury of taking your time but w/o it, you really can't do that. The lines get long pretty quickly.

I'm definitely not an expert on HHN, but the past three times I have gone I have only had express one night... that was Halloween weekend (a Saturday night) and only used it because we were tired and figured we would do the houses one more time. I have gone twice with two days to go through, and once with four days to go through and have not needed express any of those times because we are in the park for Stay and Scream. If I only had one night to do HHN, I would buy express to be on the safe side... but since I always have at least two to four nights, I don't feel like I need it at all. The only thing I will say is that it seems like the park becomes much more crowded the later it gets. We have been able to go through all the houses at least once early on and catch a few more as it gets later. The ones we don't catch for a second (or third) time on the first night, we go through on next few nights. We never worry about the rides because we have done them all during the day. I know express is a money maker for US, so I can't imagine them not selling it as an option for at least single night tickets. Like others have said, they may offer more as the weeks go on.

momnum1, i used to do it the way you do the lines for hhn.
i'm there for 4 nights for hhn so i can catch houses with plenty of time.

then i got completely and totally addicted to doing each house twice in order to catch Team A and B in action........
so i buy the express passes each year.
i know. i'm the extreme case.....

you can see it all and do every house by going multiply nights.
it can be done without express passes by starting early and avoiding waits for each house.

saturday nights are the only one that packs in the crowds and the express pass is worth it.
but, there are some dates of hhn that do not have large crowds.

that's just my opinion though.

It is a MUST for me to do each house at least twice per night!

Cheers!!!

We have almost always been to do each house twice, and some houses three times, per night with very little wait... I know that sounds strange and maybe it's because we go opposite of the Stay and Scream house. In fact, one night last year was the only time I have ever been directed to a specific house when leaving the SS area. We went through Forsaken and In Between completely alone, went and did the other houses and started all over. The only wait (about 20 min) was the Poe house. The year before that, we were able to go through Legendary Truth and three times (almost no wait), as well as the other houses twice, with no more than a 15 to 20 min. wait, and that was on a Saturday night.

I know I have only been a few times, but after spending the extra money on Express the first year and only using it then because we didn't want to waste it, I just haven't felt it was necessary. It's an expense we can't afford on our budget. I would definitely get it if I only had one night or wanted to stay in the park late... but otherwise I wouldn't. The first time I went to HHN I was afraid not to get it because I didn't want to miss anything.

I guess everyone has to decide what will make them most comfortable... if I had the money and wanted express, I would get it. I don't think it's strange that anyone would want to go through the houses mulitple times. That's what we want to do to also, I'm just saying that I have been able to do that with out express no problem. Maybe the weekends I've been there weren't crowded. I thought the numbers for SS were very low last year... in fact it really surprised me that so few people were in the holding area compared to the year before.

Maybe I'm showing my ignorance, but is this being rumored simply because last year they had them listed as "coming soon" when the prices first came out?

No...A poster on a Facebook group posted that since the prices weren't listed they weren't going to be available. Forget the fact the prices are never released at the same time so this guy didn't know what he was talking about. But...you know how people run with stuff.

Rip 'Red', there are many of us that have gone to hhn over the past years.

each year the basic prices are posted with advance sales discount.

later on, the tours and express passes are posted.
if any additions are to be, that would be posted on the ticket website also.

it is usually a newbie that will post what Metro West found on FB.
the regulars already know that the price list is staggered as it comes out to the public.

i usually wait until august to buy my hhn tickets/pass.

one year, don't remember which in the past 5, fridays were added to one of the special passes.

this happened after hhn opened.

i had already bought a pass for my dates, including that single ticket for friday night.

when the change to include that friday happened, i went to guest services that day and my cc was credited.
yes, i did have to give them that friday ticket in exchange...

I got ya. I just remember last year they actually had the categories listed but no prices at first. Figured that's where it came from. I don't do FB so I hadn't heard anything until I saw it on here.

Thanks guys.
