This will be our 2nd HHN and hopefully much better(last time was in 99). So now as with everything i'm better informed thanks to this board and have a plan going in. This trip will be short and there is only one day for US & IOA Oct 17. I'm not so worried about getting to all the rides as we were just there last Xmas but Mummy is a must do. My main concern is HHN and if we should purchase the express passes or is it not needed as this will be a Sunday. I'd like to stay in the park what are our options for dinner and do i need a resv. Thanks for you help and feel free to offer any other advice on the above night

i think you should go ahead and buy the express passes. even if the event ist packed, then you can use them to do everything twice;) . its hard to guess at the attendance of HHN. dont know about something to eat.

I would buy the express as even Sundays are supposed to be busy this year.

We went the first night last year and we were told it was going to be very busy and it wasnt. We didnt really need the books but if we go again we will buy them again just to be on the safe side. Its really hard to tell if you'll need it or not but even if the waits are 20 minutes thats still 20 minutes of not standing in line.

The single most important thing for HHN is to be there before they start. The scares are only good until the guest volume makes them predictable. The first 2 houses will be the best. We went the second night last year and was glad to have the express passes. They were cheaper on the off nights.
