HHN & Annual pass question

I'm going to HHN this year with my boyfriend and 5 friends. My boyfriend and I both have annual passes - Power passes. Universal's website states that we get:

"Special discounts on separately ticketed events such as Halloween Horror Nights®, Rock the Universe and New Year’s Eve"

This seems familiar as when my bf, his sister and I went to HHN in 2013 my power pass got them discount. Only I can't remember how much. Memory like a goldfish!

I'm just trying to cost up how much tickets are going to cost and I can't seem to find anything that specifies how much discount we get and how many people that can cover. I see that we could use our passes at the gate to get 10% off our friends park tickets (up to 6 friends each according to the website) but it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference than buying them online.

Anyway, does anyone know how much discount you get for HHN tickets when using a Power pass? Thanks,

google the hhn website of 2014.
sometimes the old info is still listed, sometimes it isn't.
but its a try.

i always buy using my ap for the ticket discounts.

don't remember exact prices but it was good.

peak nights have different costs and non peak nights in the past have been the same price for the sun, wed, thurs nights.

Thanks for your help. I think we're either going on a wednesday or thursday night. Tried googling the 2014 prices/discounts but it just takes you to the 2015 site now. It's easy to find the basic prices from last year on other sites but not the ap discounts when buying for other people. If anyone knows what the discount is then that would be awesome!

the past two years, thursday is no longer one of the quiet nights for hhn.
i haven't gone the first available thursday in the set up but have hit the others.

ep was my best friend for those dates.

I'm not sure if I am remembering correctly- but I think that the ap price for a hhn ticket was the same as the sns price for the basic one day hhn ticket. There were ap discounts for other hhn tickets also.

Yeah I can see they are the same price for ap as they are the others for some days. So I guess our friends would just pay the same? But question - are Thursdays worse than Fridays now? I looked back and it was a Friday when we went in 2013 (and it was the opening night) which was really manageable. And the first time we went in 2011 on a Thursday was fine too. Both didn't need an ep and got round all the houses. Would it be better if I went for a Wednesday night? Or maybe even a Sunday?

I'm just worried now as our original plan was to go for October 1st (Thursday) and I can see on Undercover tourist crowd calendar that it's a red day for Universal. So I'm just confusing myself now. :confused3

fridays are worse than thursdays.
friday is a peak night and higher costs for hhn ticket/ep

could be that the first thursday in october for hhn could be fine.

you'll see a higher crowd day/red on the days hhn operates.
many come to the park in the afternoon and stay until hhn starts.
they do the rides then and the hhn events in the evening.
only 6 rides in the past have been open during hhn.

I will say the last few years I have noticed that the second Friday of the event has been a dead day. We got so much accomplished, all 8 houses with several repeats plus B&T with a stop at Fast Food Boulevard. So yes that is a little secret, the second friday of the event is usually not as busy.
