HHN and "MaryJane"

So my fellow frequent HHN visitors, is it just my friends and me, or has anybody else noticed that "MaryJane" and her cloyingly sweet "perfume" seems to be spending an awful lot of time at HHN this year? We caught a brief whiff of her on Sunday and chalked it up to a fluke thing but then last night it seemed as if she was everywhere. It was especially noticeable during the Rock number for Death Drums (over by the big speakers), but we also scented her quite strongly by Finnegans later that evening.

It was really odd and something I've never noticed before. It was making me feel sick to my stomach actually because I really can't stand the odor.

Not sure if this was related but we also felt there was a more noticeable presence of what appeared to be either OPD detectives (wearing trench coats with their badges/ID around their necks) or senior security officers around the park last night.

Just wondering if anyone else noticed this.

I've definitely noticed the heavy OPD and security presence this year. I'm grateful for it though, as much as I love HHN I'm sure problems (and the potential for bad situations) arise frequently. I've seen one scuffle between a group and OPD about line cutting this year.

I only caught a whiff of that "perfume" once this year. It just baffles me that someone would risk that with the heavy police presence. Also, a theme park would be an expensive place to have the munchies!

But really, I'm much more concerned about rowdy drunkards than those whiffs.

I haven't smelled any grass this year but the fog has a little smell this year, at least to me. The fake fog in the park has a slight burning rubber smell to me.

I'm familiar with the normal fog effects odor and definitely can distinguish between the two. Unless they're using a different type of fog machine in some areas.

Not a big deal, just found it a little surprising. Then again, I've always been pretty naive when it comes to things like that and usually get really surprised when I found out that someone partakes of various illegal substances.

But really, I'm much more concerned about rowdy drunkards than those whiffs.

I haven't actually seen any major problems with drunks during my HHN visits, but maybe it is because I don't go on the busier nights (Fri/Sat).

I had a vision of a machine emitting lovely fresh green grass smell around the parks.....as in the garden grass variety.......oops.......I`m a bit "unworldly" at times for my own good!!!!

People have got some front smoking that in the park with all the security that's there.
