i called today and they have not released that information.
the only ones that are allowed to book the public unmasking the horror tours are those that have booked and paid for the SF hotel hhn package.
this is the day tour that has two sections.
morning 10:30 and afternoon at 2:00
it is a 2 to 2.5 hour tour for each session.
in the past years, the private rip hhn tour begins by 7:00
this is the one i book and have since 2005.
the public rip hhn tours are great also.
I used to do them back from 2000 to 2004.
some past years there were 3 time periods for the public tours on saturdays.
some years fridays were included on the 3 different time periods
last year i don't remember exactly but i know there were tours beginning at 7 and at 8 pm.
some weekends are more crowded than others.
depends on the dates.
if there was a public rip tour at 9 on the friday i went, that is possible.
friday, saturday and some sundays the parks close at 2:00 am
those would be the nights that a 9 pm tour could begin as you get 4 hours of tour time.
but, like i said, i don't remember if 3 tour times have been offered in the past 3 years or not.
i would think you could expect the public rip tours to start at 7 and 8 and end after 4 hours.
private tours begin at 7 and end at 2 am
in all the years i have gone, the saturday of the columbus day weekend is blacked out for tours.
it is a buy out night and all tour guides are used for tours in this group.
