HHN 2015 tickets questions and roumers

yes, you have the ap so enter the park in the afternoon.
stay in the park when the studios close, you will be told to go to one of the holding areas

your ap is your ticket to enter the park.

the hhn ticket is why you are allowed to stay in the park when it closes.

some nights are cheaper for hhn.
fridays are higher than weekdays
saturdays cost more than fridays.

some dates cost more than other dates.
you will see a sunday with a higher hhn cost than the early sundays for it.

check the dates section for hhn to see the difference in costs per date.

Thanks so much.

Can I ask if you think the HHN Express is needed? We really don't care all that much about hitting "everything" really.

But we are eyeballing OCT 29, and have no idea how crazy lines are at all.

The night I was there last year, the lines were insane.
If you're only going one night, I'd say get the Express Pass.

regular hhn admission without any discounts will run $102 ($101.99) for any of the nights it is open

oct 29 has the cheapest hhn tix listed in the season if you buy it as an add on ticket
there are other select dates included for that same price.

but the express pass is $90 that night.

with express that high, could be more of a demand for them.
you might be looking at a crowded night that thursday.

bite the bullet and buy the express

The HHN express pass is worth its weight in gold. If we were only going one night, we'd definitely get passes, but after hearing the details about the RIP tours, we'd probably do that instead of getting the EPs. If going multiple nights, I can see why some people don't get the EPs, but we get the Rush of Fear + Express or Frequent Fear + Express when we go.

I have been to HHN over the years and my motto for the express is as follows...

  • If you're going on a weekend in October, or close to the 31st then definitely spend the cash and get the express pass.
  • If you're going for one night in October on a weekend get the express pass.
  • If you're going on a weekday or weekend in September play it by ear. If you're at the park and its not crowded then don't bother the most you will be waiting tops is 45 minutes for a house. If its pack then buy the pass at the park.
  • The same goes above for a weekday in October.
  • If you're going to HHN multiple times then don't get the pass.
On a busy day and especially closer to the 31st, you can be waiting up to 2 hours in line for house. I remember last year a friend told me they waited close to 3 hours to do The Walking Dead house. The only perk about waiting in those long lines is that they have alcohol stands setup at multiple spots throughout the lines, so you can at least get drunk by the time your wait is over. Plus, a lot of the house 5 out of 10 times are never worth the wait especially if your waiting 2 hours or more for a 5 minute walk of a house. Honestly its best to go on a weekday because it won't be as crowded and you can take your time enjoying the house. On a weekend they are just pushing people through so they can get everyone in and out.
