We are going 10/28. One person in my party does not have an express pass. They waited and now they are sold out.
How are the lines on Sundays?
We are not doing stay & scream, so what time should we arive at the park. Will they let us in early?
Also, are there any houses we should hit early to avoid long lines?
I have never attended HHN, I welcome any suggestions.

If you aren't doing S & S, you can either wait outside in the main line (YUCK) or you can purchase the $10 IOA ticket and enter through the "back door" into the Studios...unless you have AP's...then do S & S. Since you don't have EP's...I would strongly recommend doing the early entry since you can knock out 2-3 houses before the crowds really get going. If you do the early entry, you can do NOES, Psychoscareapy and maybe another before the crowds desend.

I wouldn't worry about the rides but...the rides open are: Jaws, MIB, Earthquake, ROTM, Twister, Shrek and Jimmy Neutron.

Is the $10 IOA open only to Florida residents? Thats what we thought but are we wrong??? We are also going to be at HHN 10/28, we luckily have passes, just thought it would also be nice to be able to get the $10 IOA tickets if possible.

Long, time lurker here....

We were there 10/21/07, wait times posted were 120-190 minutes long. Express Pass wait times were 15-40 minutes long. People that we know also went 10/21/07, they saw 3 houes only, as they had no Express Pass, why on earth they did this I do not know. People we met in the hotel had express passes, but managed to see only 7 houes, no shows, no rides.

We booked a RIP tour, we saw all 8 houes, all 4 shows, plus rode The Mummy, and Jaws, our tour was 5 hours long with three breaks built in, and worth every dollar spent, as front of the line access is the way to go for HNN. They told on the tour, that as of Saturday (10/21) 40,000 tickets had already been sold for 10/27/07 this Saturday, no Expresses Passes were left. This was our fourth HHN -RIP tour.

The 10.00 play early is for Florida residents only, includes IOA and you get access via the IOA cross over.
Here is info on that:

We couldn't get express passes for our 3rd visit to 'HHN 17' and it was a total nightmare! We waited about an hour for Vampyr then over two and a half hours for Texas. We gave up after that it's no fun at all being stuck in a queue for that long.

People were constantly cutting the queue to join friends or pretending they had been to the bar. Luckly I had already seen all the houses a couple of times on my first two visits.

On the times that I was there the queue for The Thing was always the shortest. Also visit The Thing before Jacks 3D Funhouse as the exit to The Thing leads directly to Jacks Funhouse.

:)

The first two Sundays were packed, and crowds traditionally get worse as Halloween gets closer. Expect wall-to-wall people, at least 1 hour waits, probably closer to 2.

Metrowest is right, do what you can to get in early, and knock out as many houses as you can by, say, 7:00. No rides, no stopping for drinks, not even a bathroom break. Even then, don't expect to see everything.
