HHI ?

We are going to HHI for the first time in July. DH is concerned with how far from the beach the resort is. How far is the beach? Is it within walking distance or will we have to drive?

It's a good 2 or 3 miles to the beach house. Even if you're in the best of shape, the July heat is oppressive.

It's actually just over a mile to the Beach House. We have walked it many times, but in the summer heat, it can make for a hot trip.

There is a shuttle from the resort that runs until 4pm daily. It's also an easy bike ride.

Ditto the shuttle is the best way in the heat. We do enjoy taking the bike path under the road and it gives us a little exercise too.

As Doc mentioned a little over a mile. The last time we there we checked from the front of the resort and I think it came to about 1.2 miles. If you get there at the right time and decide to drive you can park underneath in the parking garage. Or as has been mentioned, take the shuttle.
