HHI WL chances

We recently stopped at HHI on our return trip home in February. We really liked it and decided to try and get a 4 day trip in July there. I know this is difficult to get so I will give everyone the time to finish laughing.

Okay, my question is has anyone ever had luck with a waitlist coming through in July for a studio. We would be arriving on Sunday and leaving Wednesday. Thanks.

I tried two years ago and then again last year for a studio in July and I was never able to get a group of 5 days together at 7 months. I did not waitlist though (because I am a planner and could not wait) but I called right at 7 months. I got frustrated a decided to buy a 50 pt resale. We are going this year from 6/27-7/2. Maybe you could take what they have available and then book cash for the others while you hold out hope for the waitlist? Good luck.

We are thinking about ading on there in the future, but not this year. The only days they had available were 7/3, 7/9, 7/17 and 7/30. Nothing worth trying to piece together. I too prefer to plan ahead, but this is one of those things that if it happens great and if not then so be it. We will be in the World in June, so we will get our fix. This would just be a nice change.

It is very difficult for June July and August at HHI. We added on there in 2002(and just added 60 points this month) just to get 11 month window for summer. We have been members since 1994 at OKW and just fell in love with HHi the first visit in 1999. We have lucked out once and gotten august 3 nights 2 bedroom at 7 months, but that was lucky as we are real planners and this was not the first plan. It is easiest to get 2bdroom (?and studio) as there are fewer 1bedrooms. We are headed there 6/8 for 4 nights! Is WL your plan now-have never tried there for july? I think you could try to waitlist for HHI july, but its a long shot.
