Just love the TR with pictures!! We check in on the 22nd!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see the pool party pictures, that's my DD's favorite night!!! She's 7 and already talking about all the dancing she'll be doing that night!!!

You got some GREAT pictures. I love the one of the fishing pier at night. And the last one you posted of your kids watching the fireworks is absolutely priceless. I'm thinking maybe this year's holiday card???

Figured you were having a great time, since you haven't been posting much. Please be sure to give a final update when you get home, if you're not able to do so before then.

I talked to Harry on Wednesday -- he was "exhausted" from so much dancing on Tuesday night! Tough life, huh?

Thanks for the nice comments about my kids!!

I am preparing to leave-finishing up my laundry, so we can pack up tonight. <sob>
I have been so relaxed this week, we have been like slugs, it's been great!
Today we did the Low Country Nature Walk-we were driven to Fish Haul Creek(?), walked through a small woodsy area and then came out into the sound. Sandy was our guide, she was great, and we found a lot of shells, more than I ever have before.

We even saw a shark..a fisherman caught a baby one.

Oh! And the other day we saw an alligator, we were coming back from Harbor Town and my husband saw people looking at one in a small pond. We had just done the "Gator..not Croc" activity at the resort earlier that day so we stopped and got out so the kids could see-we were a good distance away, so the gator slides into the water and is just chilling out when she snaps her head up and around.
We all jumped, startled, but my son jumped and ran..all the way back to the car where he hopped in, slammed the doors, and locked us out.

I have NEVER seen him move that fast in my life, and he threw us to the wolves..or the gators as the case may be. He wouldn;t unlock the doors until I threatened him.

I booked that week at 7 months out and was glad to get it. We may try and book the same week again for next year. It was a fun filled week.

Thanks! Marley's was very good-we went there our first night.
We are home. We stayed at the resort until about 2 yesterday, then stopped at the outlets for a couple of things and then hit the road. We stopped in Wilson, NC about 5 hours from HHI at a Fairfield Inn that just opened in 2007, very nice, good breakfast in the morning.
Cracker Barrel right nearby-we had dinner there. Perfect place for a stopover for us.
We had about an 8-9 hour drive today, very easy.

Oh how funny-I kept my ear out for a Nick, but I kept hearing one who had a couple of brothers so I knew it wasn;t yours.

Vicki.. I can't believe your picture of the campfire!

My son just started as a CM in the rec department for the summer. (He's practically grown up at the resort -- we've been going since he was 8 years old!) Yesterday was his first "real" day at work and he was doing the campfire. He was kinda unsure about it, but we talked to him afterwards and he said he thought he did OK! LOL

People don't post campfire pictures very often, and sure enough there is one of Harry! (He's the CM on the far left, about halfway down in your picture.)

BTW, he is supposed to do the "Kids Night Out" tonight -- he thought he was going to do the younger kids and they were going to see Narnia. You will have to ask your kids about him.

We just got back from HH and saw a lot of Harry as our DD's 6 and 3 did a lot of activites and a lot of swimming. All of the cast members in recreation at HH are great, and Harry was no exception! He did a great job at the campfire we attended and at the pool games.

Is he a seasonal employee or is this a long term position? We're hoping to make reservation for next June so maybe we'l see him again!

Thanks for the kind words -- you make this mom proud of her boy. This is a summer job for Harry. He has to go back to his junior year of college in August. He's really enjoying it there; I knew all those years of subliminal Disney training would pay off some day!!
