HHI question

We're planning a trip to BCV 8/1 to 8/8. We thought we would spend a few nights @HHI either before or after. What is the closest airport to HHI? How long is the drive to Disneyworld? Just trying to arrange airline plans with my frequent flier miles which seem very difficult to use now-a-days!!!

Closest airport is on HHI (airport code is HHH I believe). As best as I can remember, it is only serviced by one airline, USAir.

If you don't like that option, consider the airport in Savannah, GA (airport code is SAV). It is serviced by several airlines (Delta, American, Northwest to name a few). This usually means that, with a better selection, you will get better prices.

It also wasn't too far of a drive from SAV to HHI (just around 90 minutes, at least that's with me not having a CLUE as to where I was going).

It's about a 5 hour drive from HH to WDW.

The HH airport is served from Charlotte, so flights are somewhat limited. More options are available thru Savannah- about a 45 minute drive away.

You will need a car at HH, so the Savannah option is pretty reasonable.
