HHI--poolview too noisy?

We are going next summer and I am thinking about requesting poolview unit. Is it too noisy? I think the pool closes by 10PM, even when there is a party. But, has anyone found it too noisy? I have 3 pre-teens, so I thought poolside would be a great location. Any downside? thanks, Elaine

great location for kids that want to swimm. I did not find it noisy at all. Summertime youve got the windows closed and the air on. Enjoy!

Ask for a marsh view by the pool.

We loved our lagoon (or do they call it marsh) view room at HHI. Quite relaxing and lots of nature to look at.

We didn't ask for a pool view we just got one and it was FUN!. The noise didn't bother us at all.

We always get a pool view and have never had an issue with noise. Usually very quiet at night. And that location is perfect for you with kids that age. They can head to pool and feel a little independant and you can keep a close eye on them from your balcony.

We have had a pool view a couple times and the noise did not bother us at all. We could sit on the porch and watch the kids. Two things to consider:
1) we did not like the unit directly behind the waterslide because the slide itself blocked the view of the pool.
2) you have to exit the unit and walk around the building to get to the pool - the distance was not a problem, we just didn't anticipate that before we checked in - kind of figured "pool view" meant walk out the door and you were in the pool. Guess we are getting lazy on our vacations!
