Anyone willing to predict our chances of getting a studio next Easter. Here's our dilema-should we book our airfare now, assuming we can get accomodations at HHI at 7 months for next Easter, or should we wait, making sure we can get accomodations before we book airfare? Why book airfare now? There are frequent flier flights available now, and we all know they don't last long. And with airfare costing $500-$600 pp to anywhere around HHI, what a plus to find FF flights! But then we risk having useless tickets if we can't get accomodations at HHI at 7 months. And to make it harder, we want a studio. Sooo, any crystal ball users who want to predict our chances for a studio next Easter?

How much does it cost to put the points back in the system? I think I would be willing to spend up to a certain amount to have the flights and in the case that nothing ever becomes available at HHI, just pay to put the points back. We have done that when our plans have changed.

How do you pay to put points back? Can you book on cash now so that you have something at Easter? Let us know how it goes.

I was referring to the frequent flyer points. We've booked flights to Europe one year and cancelled the cruise. With Continental, it depends what level you are as to how much it costs to cancel the flight and put the points back in your account.

I'll have to have DH look into that. :rotfl2:Gee, Bobbi, how did you guess Continental? Is it, perhaps, because you know that Continental is about the only airline around?

Because DH often flies to Harlingen or Brownsville, he has lots of Continental miles, and if yours does too, you may be in luck that way. We also altered European (ff) tickets and because of DH's level the change was at no charge. It is a wonderful silver lining when you have to travel a lot for a living!:goodvibes
