Considering a trip to HHI. Just DH and I, no kids and water temps don't matter to us as we wouldn't be doing any swimming.

Which would be better for next year...late March or mid-to-late April? Easter is early April so not looking at the week after that.

When is Spring Break?

I'm kind of leaning more towards late April. What are the chances of a 1BR at 7 months?

While niether month is beach swimming weather, I would choose April. Spring is in full bloom then. March weather can still be unpredictable, and rather cold at times. Have fun!!!:goodvibes

I am interested in this a bit too. We are going to try and get a reservation for the 3rd week in April next year, our school vacation. It is not my home resort, so I am hoping to get in. Any thoughts on this?

My husband and I went the last week of April this year, and it was wonderful! The pools are heated and the beach was sooooo nice. We took day trips to Savannah and Charleston and are planning to go back in 2011. The resort is wonderful and the restaurants across the bridge were very good. We rented bikes (haven't ridden in 20 years!) and had a ball. Good luck planning. It is a very relaxing and romantic vacation.:goodvibes

Great; is it your home resort? If not, did you get the dates you wanted without difficulty?

Thanks

I'd find out when the Heritage golf tournament is at Harbourtown and avoid the weeks before that time. I hear that the entire island is packed. We went in March a couple times and loved the weather. It wasn't too warm to enjoy bike riding, miniature golf, etc.

bummer, I just looked and you can't book until 7 months out for non-primary resort...why did I have it stuck in my head that it was 9 month????:confused3
