HHI in October

Hello, all.
I am considering trying to book a deluxe studio at the DVC in HHI in October. It would be early October for DD's fall break. HHI is not our home resort, so it would have to be booked at the seven month mark. Has anyone had success getting HHI in October for a deluxe studio if not your home resort?

On another note as a newbie, how do I get a picture of DVC/Saratoga Springs in my signature?

I would check right at 7 months. With only 21 Studios they do go quickly most of the year - especially at times when there are school breaks.

Something I would suggest is booking a studio cash reservation, and then trying to book at 7 months on points - and cancel the cash reservation if you get what you want with points.

HHI Is an amazing resort - October should be really nice! We have stayed in late November, December/January, and July. The resort is TOTALLY different in the off season - there isn't so much going on around the island, and the traffic is SO much better! HAHA

We loved our week in July this past year, it was GREAT!
