Just wondering if anyone out there can give me your opinions/advice on which course to play. My father and my son want to during our vacation - only 28 days to go! TIA

There are lots of great golf options on and in close proximity to HH. I played at Oyster Reef and at Golden Bear (at Indigo Run) the last time we were there and I enjoyed both places. Pace of play was much better at Oyster Reef, but Golden Bear was probably a little better course especially since they have GPS on the golf carts. The golf courses at Palmetto Dunes are all quite nice, but were a bit more than I wanted to pay. Contact the resort ahead of time and they will help you with tee times and, in some cases, are able to get you a decent rate (especially for prime time tee times).

DH has played several of the courses at HHI (with several more yet to play, I'm sure). So far, his favorites have been the ones at Palmetto Dunes (very convenient to the resort, too) and Hilton Head Country Club, I think it's called, in HH Plantation. He's also played Harbourtown Golf Links (VERY expensive, but he insisted every golfer needs to play it once) and we both went to the Ocean Course in Sea Pines (hardly any ocean-that part was a bummer). The other course in Sea Pines, the Marsh (?) was being redone, so he's anxious to try that one out next time. Hopefully, it will be very nice-the pictures looked it.
