Farmers Markets Open for Business
If you're a local or visitor searching for the freshest Lowcountry fruits and veggies, be sure to head out to one of four area farmers markets....As has become tradition, the Hilton Head Island market will be held on Thursdays (from 8am to noon) in the center court of The Mall at Shelter Cove. New for this year, Bluffton-centric folks can pick produce on Tuesdays at both the original location (historic downtown at Calhoun Street) from 2pm to 6pm and, for those of us who work full-time, from 4pm to 7pm in the development housing CareCore National and Publix off of Buckwalter Parkway (please note that out of respect for Publix, only produce will be sold at this market). Finally, for those of you stationed and/or working at MCAS Beaufort there is a market on Wednesdays from 3pm to 6pm in Freedom Park.
The Mall at Shelter Cove is located just a bit north of the Disney Resort on the same side of William Hilton Parkway.
