HH Thanksgiving Meet -- Wed. 11/24

I'm so excited guys! We're down to our last 6 days. I have 4 more work days then I'll be off for 10 days. Woohoo!!!! I can't wait for us to check in to our 2 bedroom. This time next week, we'll be chillin' in our villa!

I so wish we could have ordered the turkey dinner (or at least the turkey by itself) but those sides are too tempting for me and DH. Maybe next year when we're in maintenance we can consider ordering a meal like the one at the resort.

I look forward to meeting you guys on the 24th!

As far as knives the ones they have there may as well be plastic!We are driving but I even send one in my checked luggage along with the blessed cork screw (lost too many of those at airport security!)
Told my 14 year olds about the get together and one looked at me,rolled his eyes and said great more DVC adult freaks! He He I love to embarrass him!

They may have corkscrews to tell you the truth I can't remember exactly. I used to keep one in my toiletry bag which was a carry on and never think anything of it and my husband had a swiss army knife that he always brought on vacation. Well we did the Disney Cruise right after Sept. 11 and flew out of JFK and almost had a security meltdown!

one week from this moment, we will be at DS11's follow up visit from his surgery and then will be getting on the road! YIPPEE!!!!!

Can't wait to see old friends and meet new ones in just 8 days!

For all of those who will be at HHI next week, I just made reservations for the 3 PM dolphin cruise with Captain Scott on Weds Nov 24. I did not realize each cruise has a 3 person minimum but we will only have DH and I at this point. So, if anyone was interested in a dolphin cruise and has a party of 4 or less (max 6 people per cruise) and would like to join us at 3 PM to help us reach the minimum you can call the resort, ask for the recreation desk, and reserve your cruise ahead of time.

I'm really looking forward to our first vacation at Hilton Head!

Hi, everyone!
Well, I think I've talked Howard into leaving here by 3 or 4, putting us in HH around 5 a.m. Wednesday -- he'll probably sleep most of the day, but the rest of us will probably have slept in the car. Hope to see you all Wednesday at the DIS meet! I know I will be cooking and baking this weekend to bring fun yummies with us!
