HH-- Rte 278 highway alligator!

We were leaving this morning around 6 a.m. and an alligator was crossing the highway not far from I 95! This thing must have been a good 9-10 feet b/c it took up a whole lane!

.... and he mentioned a road kill gator that was about 10' long. I believe he was driving up from Miami when he saw it.

Maybe he was "pool hopping" from BCV.

Seriously, that must have been pretty scary. Hitting something like that in the dark wouldn't be any fun.
