HH Pin Trading

Thought about posting this on the pin trading board, but this seems a more likely spot to get a response. Does anyone know if Pin Trading has any life at HH? We are heading over in 2 weekends and I am trying to decide whether to lug all my gear with me (books, lanyards etc..) or just go minimally (1 lanyard with a few pins). If someone can enlighten me on whether the CM's there trade, or how the gift shops are stocked I would apreciate it. This is my first trip to HH as a collector / trader.

We were just there for the first time last month and it is not a big thing there. I saw a few (very few) guests with a lanyard on...but no cast members that I can recall. They have a limited pin supply at the on-site store, and in fact, had NO hilton head resort pins when we were there. Seems they have a hard time getting them...exhausted the supply at all the other DVC resorts and wasn't getting any shipped there.

That reminds me that I need to call and see if they came in. I left a phone number and request for 3 with one of the CM's there but haven't heard a thing.

But lanyard or not, you will have an AWESOME time in HH. That resort is a real gem!

We were there last June and did not see any guests with pins. We did notice that the CM in the store by the pool usually had a few to trade. There were very few to choose from that were on sale.


But as the previous poster said.....HH is a great place!!!!! We can't wait to go back.

We were there last week and saw a flyer for a Shrimp Broiler buffet on Friday nights and it said pin trading too. We didn't make it so we don't know if many actually participated. I only saw one cast member with a pin lanyard. I was disappointed that I there were not any HH pins.
