HH in May--weather?

we are headed to HH in early May (Aug 30 to be exact). What kind of weather can I expect? will the resort be packed or is this still early enough in the season? we were there in 2004 in October and it was awesome and EMPTY. I am just curious how this trip will compare.

I'm guessing you meant April 30 ??

Early May will have great weather at HH. Warm days and pleasant evenings- temps will generally range from low 70's to mid 80's. The ocean will still be too chilly for most to enjoy, but the beach will be great for strolls and all activities will be available. There will be no crowds to contend with- either on the island or at the resort itself.

Aug 30 would be an entirely different story!

I was wondering about May as well. We will be there around the 23 to the 27th? What should I expect in terms of weather and crowd?

LOL!! oppps yes I meant APRIL 30.. not AUgust. thats a bit of a difference for sure!

Late May will see another 5+ degrees to the temps, the ocean will be a lot warmer and the weekday crowds will be moderate at the most. Since that is Memorial Day weekend- the island will gewt busier as the week progresses.

Should be a good time to go.

We live up the road about an hour or so and our weather in May is awesome! Should be right around 80 degrees and the ocean is the perfect temp. That should be a great week to go crowd wise IMHO! We'll be there the week after Easter and I think that by April 30 the last of the Spring Breakers will be gone. Have a great trip!
