HH in March?

How's HH in March? I just called yesterday and was so glad to be able to reserve a studio during our spring break week, March 9-13. However, DH mentioned last night that it would be our luck that it's a Spring Break spot. We live near the beach that was once voted "Wildest Spring Break" spot on the Travel Channel. I've seen the reports on TV, and you should see what goes on out there! PLEASE calm my fears-HH isn't at all like that, is it? What's it really like in March-weather, crowds? We're hoping to do some bird-watching, don't know if that's realistic (hope so).

I wouldn't characterize HH as a place that would be a "wild spring break spot". It's much more of a family place...and a conservative one at that.

We were there in late March last year (spring break tied in with Easter) and I'm pretty sure the resort was full--but you'd never know it. And if you're getting a studio at 7 months out without a wait list that should tell you it is not to crazy.

We were at HH this past March twice. First for a few days on our way down to WDW and then a few days more on the return of our trip on our way home to NJ. Both times the weather was beautiful. It was a bit chilly the first day, but warmed up to the low 80's by day 2. I did not see any sign of wild spring breakers while we were there! It was beautiful and relaxing as usual.

Spring breakers should not be a problem. I was there in March a few years ago and was unaware that it was Spring break season. Now the "NO-See-UMs" that's a different story and yes they are there, especially in the early evening hours.
