We are "going home" for the first time in 6 days. Can't wait! We have a studio at Hilton Head for 2 days. This is our home resort, we joined in Dec. while we were at WDW. I've gotten some good info from Tommy's website. Any other suggestions or must do's?
Thanks.

We will be there on the 6th for 3 nights...First time also. Can hardly wait! Would like restaurant suggestios also...

We'd like an update on whether or not the Beach House Pool is still being refurbished and if the dredge is still dredging and the dredge barge is still off the fishing pier.

As for resturants...check out Kingfishers, The Old Oyster Factory, The Old Fort, and my favorite but not everyone else's, The Big Bamboo. I guess I like that place because I was in the Air Force and spent some time in the Pacific (Guam) during the Vietnam War era. Other places are listed on my site.

For a fun night out - You can check out the "Famous/Infamous" Club One in Savannah. This is the place The Lady Chambley worked in the book "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". This is not a place for the faint at heart or children or anyone who is severly offended by alternate lifestyles.

Just got back tonight from a 6-day stay. Pool at Beach House opened yesterday for the first time since refurbishing. We even swam in it! Weather was gorgeous, loved the resort, activities, restaurants--everything about it. (We even met Shadow) So much, that we bought in. You're going to have a great time. We fell in love with Hilton Head! P.S. Dredger still in the water.

You will have a great time at HH.
As for food....whatever you like you will find. We love Wild Wings Cafe. We order the wings for take out and they are out of this world. Here in NJ there is no place to go to get good wings so that is why it is one of our favorites. Also very good is the Tavern in South Beach, Sea Pines. We have never had a bad meal there. Lots of seafood...the best crab cakes around.
We have heard that Scottys is good, that is right in Shelter Cove, walking distance. We haven't tryed it yet.
You have to climb the lighthouse in Sea Pines. The view is beautiful and of course take a dolphin cruise!
Have a great trip!
