HH experts- some ?'s please

Are the 2-br dedicated or are some lock-offs? For just the 2 of us I can see where we will have a hard time getting a studio or 1-br at the 7 month window, but I would like to take sis and family and would need the 2-br so it looks like we might have better luck.

Any suggestions from anyone of best time to take them; March break, Thanksgiving or X-mas? There will be 4 kids ages 8-17. We will also be driving from Maine and Michigan for driving considerations with the weather. Also, want to have time to spend with them but not too much to be bored. Any suggestions on length? A week, more, less? Also, what else is there to do and see on the island? Thanks so much for any help.

There are 76 dedicated 2BR villas at HH. There are 21 lock-off 2BR's which are usually only offered as studios and 1BR villas.

If you request a 2BR, you will get a dedicated 2BR in most all cases.

There are usually 2BR's available at 7 months. Spring Break and Thanksgiving are very popular times at HH and the resort does fill up during those times. Christmas will usually offer more chance for availability, plus the point requirements are lower then.

HH has over 300 restaurants and provides loads of activities ranging from all water activities (fishing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, dolphin watching, etc.), golfing, tennis, shopping (lots of outlets), theater, museums, historical sites, tours into Savannah and Charleston, and much more.

As for the duration of your stay, that entirely depends on your personal level of need. There is plenty to fill your time if desired.

HH is a great resort and has much to offer.
