Does anyone know if the HH Beach Club is open in April ?

If you mean the beach house for the HH resort, yes it is!

The beach house is open year round for access to the beach and the pool there.

The pool should be open, since it's heated. You may want to call the resort to see if Signals (the snack bar there) will be open or not. My guess is that the beach itself may not be "officially"open, with life guards, etc., but you can always go down to the beach to walk or sit, etc. Not sure that the ocean water temperature will be that inviting this early in the year.

I must say that last year when I went to HH only a few of us were in the water ... probably all New Englanders! For me, the water was lovely and just cold enough to be refreshing not numbing. I found it rather funny to see people avoiding the water.

What about the ocean temp at the end of May (after Memorial Day)? Being from the Houston/Galveston area, we are used to ocean water that is as warm as bath water! We would enjoy somewhat cool waters, but we don't want to freeze!

Galveston: Mar - 61 degrees, Apr - 71, May - 78

Savannah: Mar - 59 degrees, Apr - 65 early, 69 late, May - 72 early, 76 late
