HH at thanksgiving?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what HH is like at thanksgiving. I am really wondering what is the weather like? Any chance of swimming in the ocean?

We were there last Thanksgiving & the weather was great! The ocean is chilly but the pools are heated and even when it was breezy the kids really enjoyed themselves. There is alot for them to do like rent bikes, activities and going to the beach. The Beach house was open but the services such as the food was closed.As far as Dinner goes for the big day we ordered from Disney a family feast which was wonderful! You have your choice of roast or deep fried in peanut oil Turkey or ham & it has diffrent sizes that you can order. Side dishes were string bean casserole cranberry sauce mashed potaoes stuffing rolls butter and gravy. I was a little aprehensive but it was very good. You can also order dinner at Piggly wiggly which is cheaper and also very good from a friend we met down there. Hope this helps.

I hope it's nice! We already booked our stay for Thanksgiving week. We visited in February this year and liked it enough to become vacation club members.

We weren't planning on returning until March 2003, but just couldn't wait. Really wanted to try the deep fried turkey!!! Hope you decide to go.
