HH at Spring Break

Now that we own points at HH, we want to take advantage of the 11 month window for spring break next year (week of Easter). Is it necessary to call day by day for reservations? Thanks!

If you are looking for a Studio or 1BR, you may want to call daily, as there are only 21 of each at the resort.

If you want a 2BR, you are probably OK calling at the end of the reservation as these are much more plentiful.

There are also 5 GV's.

Thanks Doc. I forgot to specify that we are reserving a 2 bdr. One other question... we are going to try to request a specific room, do you think calling day by day increase our chances of getting it at all? Thanks.

Specific requests are noted but not guaranteed. If you really want a certain room, you are limiting yourself greatly in getting the request.

I'd suggest requesting a certain view or group of buildings, but would discourage getting too specific. It could happen, but more likely won't. Calling day by day won't really help with that type of request. since they might give that room to someone checking in a day or two before you- even if they reserve later.

You can certainly make the request, but I'd add other requests (like view, floor and buildings) to improve the chance of getting something. Otherwise, they won't really know what you're looking for if the specific room isn't available for your arrival.

Thanks again Doc. I think I will take your advice and maybe go with the building or maybe a couple building choices. We had a great pool view room while we were there a couple weeks ago and hope to get it again or something comparable. We just don't want to get the building that is behind the slide.
