HH Add-on ??

We did an add-on at HH in August and we just now got the paperwork. The reason is they now have to send it to attorneys in South Carolina to review. Does anyone know anything about this and if so, are there any downsides to this? We haven't read through it all yet, but I did notice it gives instructions on wiring the remaining amount to the attorneys, not to Disney. We were planning on using a low interest credit card check to pay the remainder. It looks more complicated than what we've done in the past when buying through Disney. Has anyone else gone through this new process? I'm wondering if we should cancel this and do an add-on at a WDW resort even though it's only 36 points.

I can only suggest calling your reseller and see if anyone can verbalize this new procedure/paperwork/information. Sometimes trying to read and re-read these legal doc's don't make a lightbulb go on....but a simple call might.

Im sure there are a lot of S. Caroliners here who are savy about this and will give you more info!!

We closed in August on a HHI property and to my knowledge we didn't go through this extra step. I would check into it and see why they are doing this. It never hurts to ask.

I guess this is something new that Disney has to do. We are buying directly through Disney. When I didn't get the paperwork right away, they looked into it and said they now have to send all HH paperwork to attorneys to look over. There are some changes in timeshare laws in SC I believe. It took about 6-7 weeks to get the paperwork. There added 4 additional papers to sign. I was pleasantly surprised though to find a new tote bag and HH picture in the package. I wasn't expecting that for an add-on.
