Hi! I have plans to book a trip to VB and HH (Or at least try...) for next use year. I was able to call VB (Thanks to floridafam for all her help.) and request them mail me a copy of the activities list so I coudl show extended family. It was a hit. I also tried HH and they told me to just look online. Well... Online is very vague compared to what VB snet me. I was curious how the daily activities compared to what I got from VB. Is it similar in scope? Just as many thinsg to choose from? Has anyoen ever had HH fax or mail them a copy of the list?
Thanks for any info!

Shan,

I have had HH fax me the list of activities for the week of T'giving two years in a row.

If I remember correctly, the resorts have similar activites planned but there are also things that relate to just that paticular resort. My kids love the activites. Have fun planning!

We went to HH last fall and at that time they had story telling, fishing excursions, a crab boil (on Friday nights, which we missed), and a bedtime story/bonfire where we made s'mores. I also saw a couple of school-age boys having a great time at the pier catching crabs. Hope that helps some. :)

I found one of my old faxed activites sheet from HH and here's some of the stuff:

Dolphin Discoveries
kayaking trip
Gyotaku (paint a dead fish and then put the imprint onto a t-
shirt -- sounds gross but this makes a great souvenir
for the kids)
Campfire
Longview Arts & Crafts (different things are done througout the
week)
Unbirthday party
Goofy Bingo
HH Tour
Southern Snowball fight
Meet the Naturalist (different topics each time)
Pirates of the Calibogue
Kids Night Out
Teen Night Out
Shadow's Tales
Beach Nature Walk
Longview Cooking Club --Chef Gordon is awesome
Evening of Magic

Hope this helps!
