For those of you who have been before, do they have an Easter egg hunt and other activities for the kids? What about an Easter dinner or is there a local restaurant you would recommend for this?

This will be our first time celebrating Easter there and we are very excited :)

thanks, Marley

All guests registered over Easter will receive, through the mail, info regarding an Easter dinner that can be brought to your room. That has been the case the past several years. The cost is reasonable and the food was good. Sure beats cooking or looking for a place to eat.

There have also been annual easter egg hunts. At check-in, you will receive a list of activities.

thank you very much for the information. All of that sounds great.

It looks like from your countdown that me might see you there :)

We spent last Easter at HH and it was wonderful. There was an egg hunt in the morning (broken out into specific ages). There was face painting, and a Bunny Hop Sweet Walk at the Beach House.

That night there was supposed to be a campfire, but due to an evening storm that rolled in, they changed it to Goofy Bingo.

Don't know if they change activities each year, but that's what we did and it was great fun for the kids and us.

We also got the resort offered dinner. It was quite good!

We are waiting to close on our resale -- should be next week -- and my in-laws are planning to be in Hilton Head for Easter. Since I can't call MS until I am issued a member number I am curious if HH is already all booked up for Easter weekend. I imagine it's a long shot, but it would be a great way to use up the banked points that came with my resale (and earn brownie points with the in-laws by giving them a chance to see the grandkids).

It never hurts to try but I know that I booked 9 months in advance and tried to get a studio for Friday night of Easter weekend and they were already all gone. However, the waitlist came through just last week so there is always hope :)

Good Luck!

I hear 2-bedrooms are more plentiful, so perhaps I'll have a shot if I go with one of those. I'll keep my fingers crossed, and maybe, just maybe ...

Thanks for the info. Hope to see you there!!
