HH - 7mo. resv for July 2003??

Okay -- here is the deal. My Mom is having her 65th BDay next July 4th. My cousin lives outside HH and my Mom wants to have a quasi- family reunion for her B-Day.

Our home resort is VWL -- we want to book 6 days in a 1 or 2 Bedroom during either the week of June 22 or June 29th (she hasn't decided which week).

What are our chances of being able to get a resv. at that time of year ??? Any experiences with that??

What is the weather like at that time of year? We were there in March and it was very nice. Is it "bug city" in June?

Also -- A Chef Gordon Question -- We did the wine tasting. Gordon is great! We're thinking about having one of his dinners?? Who has done that? How was it? do you have his EMAIL address???

There are more 2 BR villas at HH than anything, so your chances may be fair if you call right at 7 months. You will probably have to be flexible with the days. I did this a couple of years ago and gave them a range of dates. After visiting, I knew I wanted the certainty of getting the summer months, so I added on. Weather will be hot and humid.

We were able to get a 2 bedroom at 7 months out last July. We had no problem when we figured out to call day by day rather than try to book an entire week. Worked well for us. July is hot but that's what makes the pools and beach inviting. HH is beautiful....you're going to love it. Enjoy!

Thanks for the advice -- we'll do the call, day by day thing.

We were at HH in March and really enjoyed the weather... I hope we don't sweat to death or get eaten alive in July.
