HGTV Disney backyards

I'm sure most of you are aware of this, but tomorrow night at 7:00 on HGTV there is a premiere of Disney backyard landscapes. The boys and I are excited to watch it - it has a railroad tomorrow. Should be a fun summer show and I can get my weekly Disney fix.

Pretty cool tonight. The railroad was our favorite. But with all the heavy things we wondered what would happen when the kids grew up and they wanted to change things up. The safari one next week looks cool. We've decided if they did our backyard, we would want a replica of world showcase.

I wish they would go a little lighter on the uber-costly bling (the hat, railroad, teapot, etc) and do more "budget friendly" makeovers that can be reproduced by our family. If the item needs a semi-truck and a crane to install something, we'll probably not buy one for our house.

I hope the next episode is better. Sure, it was fun to see imagineers creating a backyard-- but it was a bit over the top. I sure wouldn't want stuff like that in my backyard! That's part of the magic of visiting the World for us. And what happens when those kids get a little older... Hate to try moving that hat!

I would have liked to have learned a little more about the families featured.

Oh this is too funny. I love it! BAH. It is a BAH!

I think we are the last family on earth to not have cable, but it just isn't in the budget... DVC is though! I think my kiddies would love this show!

Hgtv.com does have full episodes of many shows. I've not paid attention to how long it takes a new show to appear their, though. (ie I know ABC has a 24 hour delay)

Since they've worked in the sorcerer's hat, how long until they use the Epcot wand? The wand has always been a great way to pick fights with my DW -- I'd love to see someone use it in their landscaping and suggest what a great addition it is -- how about for our backyard?
