Just thought I'd give an update on my status. I've finally finished seperating from the US Army. Unfortunately, the Army messed up my security clearance paperwork, so it eliminated a lot of job options for me. Not to mention, I've gone through hell just trying to get my final paycheck from them. The military just isn't the same organization it was when I first joined.
Nonetheless, I was lucky enough to secure a position as a technical business proposal writer for a company here in Maryland. (Once again my writing ability pays off!) So, I have my own office now, from which I can DIS all day! It's awesome!
Mo is doing great, and our first child is coming any day now. I'm just here at work bracing for what is left of Ernesto to head our way. I can't wait to watch the storm from these big office windows!
