Just got back from Ghostbusters.

They filmed part of that on location in the school directly across from my house. It was a total pain at the time with the whole street shut down for a week but it’s neat to see the neighbourhood easily recognizable in the trailers.

Well, yes it's a good movie - and I LOVE Ghostbusters. This one though, it may rely a little TOO much on the nostalgia - there were just too many "fan moments" that actually almost detract from the film. I know they were trying to win fans back after that last one, but, man, it was a bit much. The movie is good though and has a somewhat different feel, which I think is a good thing - I just wish it had it's own personality too.

They sort of completely ignore GB2 which is weird to me as I like that one as well. It is often criticized for being to "samey-same" as the first one, but while it follows the same story beats, it at least does have it's own personality and style. Afterlife is almost the opposite, if that makes sense.

Good morning (again). Time flies in international time zones. I am visiting a Christmas market at the stunningly beautiful Blenheim Palace today (birth place of Sir Winston Churchill). Well worth a visit if you are ever visiting the Cotswolds.

Watching our aquarium fish eating. I love the way the huge clown loach hides in his big driftwood home when I sprinkle the food. Big scaredy cat when we get too close. He is so much larger than the platies and the others that they scatter when he comes out, but I love the way he doesn’t bother them. They outnumber him by far (lot of procreating going on since we first tried platies May 2020. I think the heater on all year long helps encourage it, not sure, but I love seeing the babies in all kinds of different colors.

Thanking the Lord for my new eye doc that I saw today.
He is going to fix the cataract lens that my first doc didn't
leave clean - I've been losing my vision since the start of the pandemic.
