1-2-3 Contact

I loved 1-2-3 Contact. I used to watch that while I was babysitting our neighbor.

That's the one with the Bloodhound gang right?

Thank you for the memory of Electric Company! :)

I saw YouTube link for it and watched it. Also on Youtube, I saw links to
"Free To Be...You and Me"- with Marlo Thomas and friends. Wow, that brought back a flood of memories for me! The "Free to Be"" series and music.
We sang the intro song and the parents songs in elementary school!
Brought back a ton of nice memories! I just cried listening to all that with the Free To Be" series and singing the theme song again!

Thanks for the memories of those elementary school days of the '70s! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Morgan Freeman also played Spiderman on the Elctric Company (remember the skits where Spidey would "say" something and then teh word balloon would appear over his head?)

PS...it was 3-2-1 Contact, not 1-2-3.

Does anyone remember from the Electric Company a cartoon bit where they'd play the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey and a big stone would break apart and the letter B or something would appear?

There was another cartoon with a song about lower case n on the hill or something.

And here my first thought was 'Sloth' from the Goonies at the end when he and Chunk save his friends.

This was my first thought also. The reason I remembered this was because this was my youngest DSons favorite movie when he was younger. Shortly after him and his friends saw this movie it quickly became their favorite movie and they watched it many times. About this time i got Bell's Palsey. This caused the left side of my face to not work at all. I couldn't close my left eye and when I would drink something it would slide out of the left side of my mouth. My cheek drooped and it looked just like the guy from goonies :lmao: :lmao: . It did eventually go away. In the mean time I had a lot of fun with DS. When he was out side playing in the yard with his friends I'd stand at the door "Bells Palsey" and all and holler HEY YOU GUYS and DS would just be mortified. His friends got a big kick out of it :woohoo: . Boy were those some fun times :joker: Susan

I always loved the Electric Company when i was a kid. Morgan Freeman is one of my fav actors.

Yeah, I just remebered that it was 3-2-1 and edited it above! :teeth:

Yes, it did have the Bloodhound Gang. Ah, the days of truly educational public television.

Talk about having a serious group Gen X flashback session!

BTW, that was Sesame Street...

In a cold and far-off place
There was a lower-case N.
Lonely and cold, she would stare off into space
And it was known that she would cry now and then.

Lower-case N, standing on a hill.
The wind is very still, for the lower-case eh-en...

And then one day a rocketship
Came racing from the sky.
It landed on the hill and there opened up a door
And somethin' started comin' outside...

A lower-case N!
(She's not lonely anymo-o-re)
They are standing on the hill
(There are two that stand for su-u-ure)
The wind is very still
For the lower-case eh-ens!

Amazing how this stuff just comes back with the mention of "Hey, you guys!"!!
