Hey, Virginians! How cold is it?

Tomorrow I'm headed to Virginia for Christmas. Woooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooo!! What's your weather like? I have to make a conscious effort to remember to take our jackets! I haven't been in cold weather in 15 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Florida is cold...I can't imagine Virginia.

Oh! Let me go get a whopping two hours of sleep before I have to get up. And I'm not done packing yet!

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! It was supposed to be snowing but it hasn't started yet! BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I thought this was the south - not the south POLE!

Its between 35 and 40 degrees during the day right now, and they are calling for a "warming trend" starting Monday. That means upper 40s probably, maybe even 50. But that could all change. Bring a heavy coat and sweaters for sure. Not sure you need long underwear though!

Just remember that any Wal-Mart is sure to have some sweat shirs and sweat pants to help keep you warm.

I found the best selection of hats, gloves & mittens @ our local grocery store ... Giant in Northern VA.

Even with different places in the state getting snow, I actually don't think its too cold. Trust me, I'm from PA. its been a long time since I considered snow weather to be that cold.

Anyway, for your local weather report up here:

It will be warmer tomorrow and pretty much the same through Christmas week. Looks to be in mid 50s by weds. No long johns needed, just a nice warm blankie. You do wanna bring rain gear though as it is supposed to rain in Christmas. Don't know how bad,but we can get some decent downpours here.

Well, in my part of FL is was around 22 this morning. Has been like that each morning this week. But I also think we will get a little warmer in the next day or 2. We were colder than several northern cities one day this week.
