I've always been curious to know what each Podcast team member's favorite Disney movies are. Since that probably wouldn't work as part of an actual show, I was hoping they'd chime in here.

So what is your favorite...

-Disney animated film?
-Disney live-action film?
-Pixar film?
-Underrated or underappreciated Disney film?

My favorite live action Disney film is Mary Poppins. I've only seen it once but my favorite Pixar film might just be Inside Out. I thought it was brilliantly done. I think both Treasure Planet and Atlantis are underrated and underappreciated. Favorite animated film? That's a tough one. Let me think about that.

Since she's not on the boards much, I happen to know that JeniLynn's favorite Disney animated movie is Alice in Wonderland.

JL's favorite EVERYTHING is "Alice in Wonderland".

Hmm My favorite is "Alice in Wonderland" too! Imagine that. Well she's my favorite face character. Fur is Bambi but not sure if Bambi is even in any of the parks.

It's only been the last few years that I started watching Disney movies but Snow White, Cinderella come to mind. I was disappointed in Peter Pan.

The emperors new groove is absolutely the most underrated Disney film!! I love it!!

I don't know about live action... I watched saving me banks on the plane in my way home from my honeymoon and then Mary poppins right after and I found it... Biting :-/ sorry, but I just did.

As of today, I'd say saving mr banks
The lion king
Finding nemo - edit: toy story 3!
The emperors new groove

Unappreciated - Love the soundtracks of Newsies and Emperor's New Groove, if those count

-Disney animated film? Tie between Snow White and Aladdin
-Disney live-action film? Good question. Probably Mary Poppins (assuming the animated sequences don't count).
-Pixar film? Toy Story (the Original)
-Underrated or underappreciated Disney film? Fantasia 2000.

Animated film is a tough one would probably have to go Lion King.
Live action is Mary Poppins
Pixar is Toy Story
Underrated, Saving Mr. banks, or Jungle Book (I think it would make a great dark ride)

Animated: childhood fave - Robin Hood; young adult - Aladdin; present - Tangled
Live Action: All time fave - Swiss Family Robinson; Honorable mentions - Parent Trap (original), Pirates of the Caribbean
Pixar: A Bug's Life
Underrated: Hercules - I know, can't believe I like it either! I think the music is really catchy!

Separate category - Most stunning opening sequence + most beautiful soundtrack: The Lion King (I remember seeing the trailer the summer of 1993 - you could tell that the audience had been left breathless, I think about that every time I hear Circle of Life)

Animated - Robin Hood: what other movie drops Roger Miller, Peter Ustinov and Andy Devine right in your lap?
Live Action - Return From Witch Mountain: Bette Davis and Christopher Lee. Only movie pairing of these two baddies. I think?
Pixar - Finding Nemo: revolutionary. I really wanted to love WALL-E. But it was just so depressing.
Underrated - So many including Scarecrow of Romney Marsh (Dr. Syn), The Three Lives of Thomasina, Treasure Planet and the recent Race to Witch Mountain. Although someone will probably call me out on that last one. Maybe a little cheesy? Most likely just nostalgia as I loved the Witch Mountain movies as a kid.

-Disney animated film? It changes because so many are good, and they speak to me for different reasons. Lady & the Tramp, Mulan, Lion King, Lilo & Stitch
-Disney live-action film? Mary Poppins and Old Yeller
-Pixar film? Toy Story
-Underrated or underappreciated Disney film? Swiss Family Robinson
