It is getting very close to December and I am getting so flippin' excited. My family and I will be in WDW for 14 day's, through Xmas and New Years (at the ASMusic). I was wondering what other families were planning for there upcoming Xmas trip.

Where are you staying?
What days are you going to the parks?
Where are you eating?
What are you doing "special" on xmas eve, xmas day, and New Years eve?
What are you bringing down?
How are you getting to wdw?
What do you need at the parks?
What
How
When
Blah Blah Blah Etc Etc

Any other planning tips, I would like to hear.

We'll be there! YAY! I'll try to answer your questions:

Where are you staying?
Poly concierge, Wyndham Palms 2bdr villa, Vistana Resort 2 bdr villa, Dolphin (2 rooms) , OLCC 2 bdr villa, in that order.

What days are you going to the parks?
Don't quite have that nailed down yet, but we bought PAP's so we'll hit all the parks several times! Will avoid EMH parks. Hoping we'll get some warm weather so we can hit BB.

Where are you eating?
My favorite part! So far, I'm thinking we'll hit the following "on-site" eateries: 'Ohana, Kona Cafe, GF Cafe, WCC, Trail's End, Olivia's, Tubbie's, Concourse Steakhouse, CRT, LTT, 50's PTC, SciFi Diner, Brown Derby, Hollywood&Vine, LeCellier, Teppanyaki, Coral Reef, Garden Grille, PSB. Also will probably hit some counter service and off-site places, particularly I want to try Bahama Breeze and Sweet Tomatoes as I've heard good things on the DIS about both! I'm making myself hungry here!

What are you doing "special" on xmas eve, xmas day, and New Years eve?
Dh won't be joining us until 12/27; the kids and I will spend all day Christmas Eve at MK--we have PS for CRT in the morning and PS for LTT for dinner. Christmas day we'll relax at the Poly and probably go Resort Hopping to see the decorations. Christmas Dinner PS at WCC. NYE I'm still trying to decide between going early to EPCOT and staying all day and eve (have PS at LeCellier for lunch and Teppanyaki for dinner) ~~OR~~ AK for the day and dinner at 'Ohana (have PS) and watch MK fireworks from there.

What are you bringing down?
5 kids (ages 15, 7, 7, 3, and 1) and lots of clothes! Yikes!

How are you getting to wdw?
Driving in our full-size van (with tv/vcr thank goodness!) from northwest Illinois w/o dh--he flies down a week after us. We'll all drive home together.

What do you need at the parks?
Our double stroller! My large waistpack to hold PAP's, money, credit card, pens, important stuff. Backpack to hold diapers, baby wipes, bandaids, moleskin, Tylenol, etc. Also rain ponchos if necessary.

What
The best vacation ever!

How
LOTS of planning, and great advice from my friends on disboards!

When
Leaving home Dec. 19th, leaving WDW to return home Jan. 17th!
WOOHOO!

Mine isn't a family trip, it's solo (DH is a Scrooge about Xmas), but I'm so excited about one thing I have planned. I'm going to spend one afternoon going around to see the storyteller at each country in WS. Last night I made a list by time so that I can say "It's [whatever time], which country near where I am has a storyteller soon?" Can't wait!
