We went to Gillette Stadium Sunday morning to attend the NE Patriot's Training Camp! What a fun day! Parking is free, admission is free and the players are in their numbers, making it easy for everyone to figure out who is who!

There was an area sectioned off in the parking lot with tons of amusement-type blow-up things for the kids...a moon walk, football themed, NE Revolution themed, appearance by the NE Patriot mascot, free samples of soda, etc! My dd 5 1/2 had a BLAST!!

If you live in the area and are interested, go to patriots.com and check out the training camp schedule!!!

Sounds like fun! Gillette Stadium is only a few miles from our house and everytime we go down Rt. 1 we're amazed at how many people are there! We used to go to Bryant College (in the old Doug Flutie-obsessed days!) but it was really different then.

Glad you had fun.

hey double G, did you see some nutjob in a Superman outfit there?
Bald guy with glasses and a cape that said "2003 Visa Patriots Fan of the Year." That's one of my coworkers and I just want to know if he went through with it. He's tapped for sure

LOL~ he was standing right next to me with his wife and daughter! The DD was around 11 years old I think! I thought he was a mascot or something at first glance, then I realized he was a fan! He was holding one of those painted face masks in his hands while he was talking to his DD! Now that's a fan!! :rotfl:

If it was the same guy, he was wearing the whole superman get-up! Was this him??

sounds like Bill. What a looney tune, huh? lol

Hey, he's a fan, and he's a Hall of Famer (the Visa fan of the year for each team has a plaque in the hall of fame in Canton [OH, not MA lol])

DH and I graduated from there too...so did my brother! :)

it's changed so much since then though...and I'm talking only 5 years ago.
