Hey Mom, Do I get to be the line leader again? A PTR (My TR has started! - 6/1)

Gwendolyn (she was in Kindergarten)has her tonsils out on the Monday of Thanksgiving break and was back in school the following Monday! she had to stay in and color (not go out for recess--but, her teachers were more than happy to work it out with the second grade teacher)...

COLD!!!! we are suppose to get down to 18 by morning...our Lab was let out to go do his business and decided to roam the neighborhood...well, I went give Ashton a shower and Danny had left the back door wide open.... needless to say the entire house was 29 or so .... and it is suppose to be colder the end of the week
all the strawberry patches around here are covered up...if the temps come up a little tomorrow and Thursday they may be OK! I hope we love local strawberries...do ya'll ever come out this way for the Strawberry Fest...if so we may have to have a small dis meet!!

I had seen they had a lot of volunteer opps in Lafayette how far is that w/the fairly new interstate system that opened up?!?do they have a road--don't know why I thought they did :

If you are freezing in Louisiana be glad you aren't here! The other day at school they had to decide if it was going to be indoor or outdoor recess. Well, since it was 18 degrees we went outside. It has to feel like -5 to have inclement recess.

So, Randy, Alisa, and the boys came over to the house on Sunday to let us watch the DVD from the CHristmas trip. It was really good! It looks like they had a great time.

We really did!!! It was truly a magical vacation!!!

Randy - If you want, you can go ahead and share some pics from the trip. Share the magic! BTW, I was thinking of you tonight as Bryan and I watched the premiere of The Biggest Loser.

LOL yeah your hubby really has had his own "transformation".. he has done really well!!! How 'bout I post the pics of Kidani and Sanaa (sp) for you here, as I missed them on the DVD!! BTW I will be redoing the first and fourth DVD after the showing.. my only excuse is that I may have "rushed" a bit to try and finish them a bit too fast.

Well, we are having record-breaking cold here in South Louisiana. Normal highs for this time of year here is somewhere between 41-61. Our high for Saturday - Sam's birthday - is around 35. I think the strawberry crops may have issues this year. Wouldn't you know as well, that the heater at school was broken yesterday and was fixed during lunch today. It has been freezing for the past 2 days.

Believe me.. I know!!! I am earning every penny I get coaching soccer... this has been one of the coldest seasons that I can ever remember!!!

I gave Alisa some ideas on Sunday. He doesn't have the wolverine claws. We found them at Wal-Mart. He doesn't have Night at the Museum 2, G-Force, or Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on DVD yet. I also told Alisa that she could pick some of the graphic tees for boys at Target. They have lots of Star Wars, Marvel, and Batman shirts right now - medium. He's got plenty of toys - you know that. Bryan and I were talking what to get him for his birthday this evening. More than likely - Lego Indiana Jones 2 for the Wii.

So have you completed all your ADRs for May yet? We absoluetly need to add an afternoon at Beaches and Cream so we can take on "THE KITCHEN SINK" together!!!

I have promised the boys that we will return this summer to take it down, and so we shall!!!

I'm finally getting back into the "school groove" again.. not quite as hard to get up and get started here now.

Only 25 more school days until we're headed back to Universal!!!

Well, today is Sammy's birthday. He is 7 years old today. I can't believe how these years have passed so quickly!!! He got a lot of cool things today. Randy, he has said that the wolverine claw is one of his favorites. BTW, how long did it take Zach to get over not staying to play?

We may have some extra travelers to WDW with us! More to come on that.

It is still freezing outside. The boys want to put a cup outside tonight with about an inch or two of water in it to see it turn into ice in the morning.

The first week of school was good. These three classes seem to be more cooperative than the ones from the fall.

I'll be sure to post a new TR update sometime tomorrow.

Thanks.. thanks a lot.. last night at 9 pm we went out and bought nerf guns and such and played "battle" until almost midnight! I have officially challenged your hubby and your kids to a battle today!!! BTW, how long did it take Zach to get over not staying to play?

He pouted for about 30 mins or so.. but he has to learn that his attitude will not be allowed. He is a great kid, but sometimes he tries our patience!!

SOOOOO fast! He had fun. We played two of his new games yesterday - Star Wars Trouble and Battleship. He had so much fun playing them. He beat at Battleship though. He was extremely proud of himself.

Speaking of Universal Trip... only 22 more teaching days until we leave

Only 2 more days with the kids.. then we get a nice 3 day weekend!!!!

So, I told you all earlier this week that we might have some additional travelers. Well, we officially have them. Bryan's sister, her husband, and her three daughters will be joining us. They were with us for Sam's first trip and have ddecided to come along again. She ended up using the 45% off code to get a 1BR savanah view at Kidani with us. All we need to do now is figure out her dining, and we are good to go again. The boys are super-excited that they will be coming with us. Cooper loves the oldest daughter. SHe's 15 and our regular babysitter. He said he can't wait to show cousin Maegan his water play area at Dani Village.

Since I have done this update, it's time to get back with the others.

What a goof! He knows yall are going. We have had that discussion already. Sam has asked to go to a parade this year, so we'll see which one we decide to go to and where we will catch it. We try the parade down the bayou by Bryan's mom & dad's house. They are not nearly as crowded as the ones in town.
