Hey Mom, Do I get to be the line leader again? A PTR…(My TR has started! - 6/1)

Hi Megan! Hope you had a nice weekend. The parents of your students don't sound too involved. :scared1: I'm really sorry to hear Cooper is under the weather again. Hope the ENT gets things going quickly. :sad2: Yay for new travellers! Sounds like you have an exciting vacation shaping up!

Randy, where's the rest of those pics! Can't wait to see the castle lit up. We get to see it this year. We're going the week of the Thanksgiving!

So, what's new over here?

Cooper is doing better for now. We are just waiting for a phone call (still) to let us know when his appointment will be. I'll probably give his family dr a call today to see what's the hold up. He is still hacking up a lung, but he sounds so much better.

Zach (Randy's son) came over to spend the night last night and introduced Sam to Club Penguin. He wants to play all the time now.

I have been working out again and counting my Weight Watchers points over the past week to get myself in somewhat better shape than I am now for the water parks. I am already down a couple of pounds. We'll see how things progress.

We had a meeting yesterday evening with Sonny and Stacey about the trip. Bryan and Sonny are now excited...they are going to be playing a round of golf in WDW. Bryan has always wanted to do this, but he never had someone go with him who liked playing golf. Stacey is super-excited about this trip. Her ex husband refused to leave the park for a rest and was constantly on the move every day of the trip. The kids were always exhausted and whiney as the trip went on, and she always felt like she needed a vacation from her Disney vacation. She is excited to tour the parks in our more relaxed style. Sonny told me last night that I just need to tell him what to do, and he'll be sure they are there when I asked. They are most excited about the ater park days (like Bryan). Bryan has told them that he is making sure they go on a certain few attractions (EE, Summit Plummet, etc) just to be able to say they did them. I even adjusted all of our dining reservations last night. The CM said I had some serious pixie dust on my side. I was able to extend our Ohana reservation from a party of 14 to a party of 19 and stayed withing 15 minutes of my original reservation time. I was able to change my 8AM reservation at Tusker House from a party of 5 to a party of 10 and keep the same time. I was able to do the same thing with my Chef Mickey and Whispering Canyon ressies as well. I had problems with just my Le Cellier reservation (which I kinda had a feeling would be an issue). We were not die hard about having to eat at Le Cellier, so we'll likely cancel that one and eat elsewhere that night. We are currently thinking it will be either Coral Reef or Tutto Italia...kinda leaning toward the reef right now.

Okay, Cooper's doctor must be reading this PTR. I got a call about an hour ago from his doctor. Cooper's appointment at the ENT is on Wednesday at 9:15. I'll probably be taking the day off because of daycare issues at that time. Cooper has to be at the daycare at a certain time to be served lunch. Plus, they request a specific time to be drop off free because of naps. We'll see.

Even though I know it will be painful for him, I kinda hope the ENT agrees that he should have his tonsils taken out. I just want him to finally be healthy.

Hey! Megan
catching up! that is wonderful that your group has expanded it will be sooo much fun!
Glad to hear that Cooper has his appt with the ENT! hope everything goes well...when he has his tonsils removed you will be astonished at how different he will be. If he is anything like Gwendolyn was she has learned to accept not feeling well as a part of her daily life...her voice changed, she was happier, it was amazing we seen changes that we had never even thought about.
:wave2: Connie

Sounds like your plans are getting really exciting. I'm glad to hear that Cooper is getting to see the ENT so quickly. Hope things go as you expect and the little guy is feeling better. :goodvibes

So, we are now booked for dinner at Coral Reef for our first night. All of our ADRs are adjusted now.

We are trying out Coral Reef this time too. This is at Joe's request of course. I read about your pixie dust on getting your Ohana ressie changed. Our friends wanted to eat there at the same time we were and they couldn't get in. The website for dining ressies shows nothing available (all week) but I called and they had plenty of availability. Crazy. Thanks for the tip. I would have never called otherwise. :goodvibes

No problem! Glad I could help! I was shocked they had room available still at Ohana.

Yeah.. it is all coming together for our May trip!!! So sorry to disappoint Bryan and Sonny.. but I will have to pass on the golf excursion planned. I'm not going to waste my time at Disney playing golf!!! But I am very happy for Bryan, I hope he and G-money have a great time!!! Let them know that I promise not to give them ANY phone calls or texts during the golf time!!! LOL...

We are getting very excited in the Boquet household about the return trip to Universal Studios in just a few weeks now!!! I'm also very excited about the fact that I now only have TWO WEEKS OF SOCCER LEFT!!!! Going to finally have just a bit more free time now... life is good.. and getting better!!!!

Officially only 4 weeks left until Universal Orlando!!!!

Have a great week everyone!!!!

Hi Megan!! Glad you were able to get all of your ADRs worked out fairly easily!! Glad that Coper now has an appt. with the ENT!! :goodvibes And thanks for adding me as a friend on FB!! It's a fun way to keep in touch!!

I had a feeling when they asked you that playing golf was not in the cards for you. I completely understand though. This is something that Bryan has been wanting to do at WDW for YEARS!!!! He's excited to finally have his moment

I am so happy everything worked out okay with the ADR adjustments. I was kinda nervous about a couple of them. Plus, I had a great, very patient CM on the phone.

No problem with the FB add. I like keeping up with what's going on with my Dis friends!

So, I'll be working on my BB update since I'm staying home tomorrow. Based on the time of Cooper's appointment, I would miss a good portion of the morning, and Cooper would show up at daycare after they have served lunch. Bryan and I thought it would be best if I just stayed home from work.

Wow.. what are the odds? Chase came home yesterday from school.. and today Alisa tried to wake him up, and he went back to sleep.. this is very odd for Chase.. who normally is up for 5am sharp every morning with Dad.. so mommy is staying home with him. So you and Alisa have fun today!!! Take care of the boys..

On another note.. my boys team took down the second place team last night which puts us in the playoff race.. which means I may be staying with soccer another week.. I'm really happy for the kids.. they have worked hard to improve as much as they have.. but I was SOOO looking forward to finishing soccer next week!!! We'll see how it plays out...

I found this thread by accident, nice to see other people from Houma who own at Animal Kingdom! I just recently bought there! (Coach81) if you are still reading this thread , i think you actually know my brother in law and sister in law (Herbert and Debbie Cressoine?) I seem to remember stories he use to tell us mentioning your name and he said you are a coach so i am assuming that its you...lol
i enjoy reading all of ya'll plans

Megan-

How did the ENT visit go? Hope Cooper is feeling better. :goodvibes

Okay, so the update on Cooper? He will be getting his tonsils and adenoids removed on February 12th. The ENT took a rather lengthy history from him. Right before he looked into Cooper's mouth, he told us that from the history he had a feeling Coop's tonsils would be huge. They were actually so large that they were touching his uvula (Cooper calls it his hangy ball). Surprisingly, he is healthy right now. He immdiatley looked at us and said he was a perfect candidate for their removal. We had a discussion of his after care and the surgery. He pretty much told us it would be hell with him for one week. I'll be missing 3 days of school to stay home with him. One day for surgery day, and two days at the end of next week since we don't get the full week off for Mardi Gras.

Congrats with the soccer. I know you are ready for some time, but you gotta be proud of them at the same time.
