Hey Megan- I swear we are almost the same person- lol! My boys are also thrilled about SWW! I just had to redo my ADRs and all to account for that! They are so excited- well, DH is at least -we haven't told DS yet, but he will be. They were watching SW on Spike tonight.
We wanted to go see the lights so bad this year and just could not get it in. I love seeing your pics- hopefully, we can make it next year with Nate being older and easier then.
Oh, and thanks for the updates. I have wondered if we'd liek Saana- sp??- since we're staying at AKV, I figure we should try it at some point!

HAHA! Who knew we would be so much alike?!?

It's funny. Last year going through City Park, it seemed like so much more. It is exactly the same amount of lights as last year. Maybe it's because the night we went it was absolutely freezing. Plus, it was windy. I remember because the boys wanted to ride the train. We did, and we certainly regretted it that night.

Randy and his family ate at Sanaa on Saturday and really liked it. Give it a try. It is really good. Maybe we'll see you at Kidani at one point or another.

Once again, Santa has gone a bit overboard in my house. I t happens every year. We always forget how many siblings we have and how much they give the boys. Sam will be swimming in toys since his birthday is in 2 weeks. Randy came home today, and he and his family will be coming over tomorrow to visit. I expect to hear a lot about the trip then. Plus, Alisa was able to pick up a 2010 WDW calendar for me while they we there!

I had told myself to get a Disney calendar before the trip, but some how I came home with out it.

Yes.. you may all bow down to me.. and beg.. beg.. beg me for Disney PICS now!!!

You know how sometimes you get so hyped up about something.. and then when it finally comes.. you overhyped it.. and it doesn't seem that good afterall???

Well that totally DIDN'T HAPPEN FOR THIS CHRISTMAS TRIP!!!

As I told Alisa on the way home, it was even BETTER than I had hoped.. at that is a big statement.. 'cause I HOPED for a LOT

Couple of quick notes:

1. I'm putting the flying versus driving thing to bed.. whatever works for everyone is great... as long as you get there
2. We had NO issues.. this trip... for example..
1a. Travel was perfect.. no delays, no problems going or coming home.
2a. Online Checkin was the bomb!! Entire checkin took 2 mins or less!!!
3a. Room was ready at 10:30 am when we arrived.. no waiting!!!
4a. Luggage was in the room when we returned from Beaches and Cream.
5a. Crowds were actually not as bad as we thought.. don't get me wrong.. they had TONS of people there, but with our planning they did not bother us at all.
6a. Resorts and parks were spectacular..
7a. Weather was fantastic.. cold a few days, perfect for the most part, no rain except for our last day

So much more to say and share.. so much to talk about... but I'm off now.. gotta hit the gym..

We did have a great Christmas. The boys were happy the whole time. There has been very little bickering. No one was let down about anything. However, to an extent, from now on, we should give the boys each other's presents. They keep wanting to play with the other brother's presents.

Now, to move back to the PTR part of this report. I have gone through my plans for our day at Epcot already, so we now move on to DHS.

Once again, the focus today is SWW. We plan on being there again before the park opens to be at the front of the rope.

What do we want to get done?
1 - Meet as many SW characters as possible
2 - TSM (FP)
3 - Star Tours
4 - Playhouse DIsney Live
5 - Indian Jones
6 - Muppetvision 3D
7 - Animation Studio
8 - Great Movie Ride
9 - Plus we'll probably throw in meeting some Disney characters as well

We plan to go back to the hotel to let the boys swim before our big dinner with the Boquets. We have dinner at Ohana later this evening. If we get the park hopper, we'll likely hop over to MK for EMH after dinner. However, as of right now, we are planning on skipping it this year.

Spent nearly all morning, but I'm all caught up now! I can't wait for Star Wars Weekends! I'm so glad we'll be there for that....my DH & DS are huge fans as well....my DD & I are too, but not quite as big as the boys! It's getting closer & closer, huh?

Maybe we'll bump into each other! We did do Playhouse Disney when Bear was there. I like both of them equally. This one was easier for my boys to associate with since Bear wasn't really showing any longer. I know Randy's son was really into Bear. He could probably give you better insight.

I'm not the SW fan, but I am outnumbered over here. I deal with it. Bryan was seriously thinking of having us switch our dates is they started later. The boys each got a new Lego SW t-shirt for Christmas. Their first response was that they could wear to DHS for SWW.
