Hey Mom, Check out my new Spider-Man move! (Last day & Final Thoughts - 1/10)

Okey dokey, I'm all caught up now. I didn't miss too terribly much. Why in the world does time always seem to pass so slowly when you are at work on the day you are supposed to drive to Disney? I can't never understand that?

I would have been flipping out if we stopped to eat a 2 hour dinner knowing that we still had a couple of hours of driving to do. I mean.....who wouldn't want to get as many hours of driving under your belt as you could?

I understand the flipping and flopping all night long. I can never seem to get a good night's sleep when I know that I have to be up and ready at a certain time. Especially when that certain time involves Disney.

Megan, I've followed your pure love for Cracker Barrel for a while now but never put my 2 cents in! I guess it's because I live in the Land of Cracker Barrels.........4 or 5 within 10 miles either way of me! I'm not too fond of it. Now, Ihop on the other hand I could KILL for!!! I will say that CB has biscuits that are killer and their sugar-cured ham is always good.....I bet if we didn't have so many so close I would love it too! I hope you made it at 6am.......

It has a lot to do with the fact that the closest Cracker Barrel is over an hour away from me. Ihop, on the other hand, isn't all that great. Of course, there is one 5 minutes from my house that Sam used to beg to at all the time. Thanks for putting up with my love of Cracker Barrel despite your feelings for it.

The m eal normally doesn't take that long. The waitress was horrid. Super slow.We had to stop at that point though. Both of my boyse were saying they were hungry. They are used to eating around 6 or 7, so they were complaining by 6:30.

I love the pic of you and Cooper in the restroom. It turned out really good. The boys are so cute. Love the shots of them shooting their webs.

They were super comfy! It's too bad I wasn't able to enjoy them as much as I would if I were not going to WDW the next morning.

I was surprised at how well that picture came up. You certainly couldn't tell we were up so early. They are web-shooting fiends. Madeline was looking at the pics today and quickly pointed out that she noticed a theme in their pics. Oh well...it's just another story to tell the boys when they get older..."There was this trip to WDW where yall shot webs like Spider-Man in almost all of the pictures."

The Vader voice is pretty darn cool. I'm sure DH would love it as well. Thanks! We definitely do not have a shortage of Spider-Man in my house. Update coming soon.

We were all sitting in the lobby waiting on my SIL when I last left you all. It was about a quarter to 6 when I started wondering if they would actually be downstairs on time.

Immediately after checking my phone for the time, I hear Cooper say "There's Maegan!" They made it! No need for OCD to go into effect yet. The schedule has remained in tact. They droped off their keys, and we all headed to our vehicles to drive the 0.2 miles to the Cracker Barrel across the street. When we got there, we were the only ridiculous people waiting to be let into the building. You heard me. We got to Cracker Barrel BEFORE they opened!!!

They opened the dorrs promptly at 6 and commented that it was odd to have so many people there so early. We felt kind of bad for our waitress. She gets to works in the morning and immediately had a table for 10. Poor thing. However, we made everything easy for her. Everyone ordered breakfast. Obviously, the food came out pretty quickly.

I gobbled up my hash brown casserole pretty fast. You gotta understand. I the hash brown casserole at Cracker Barrel, and I did not want to share it. I have it once a year on my way to WDW. If I would have left it on my plate for too long, Cooper would have noticed and asked to have some. As bad as it sounds, I just wanted it for myself, so I ate it first before he would notice.

Everyone started finishing up, and the boys were getting restless. I brought them to check out the shop and use the restroom while Bryan and SOnny finished up at the table. After everyone had used the restroom, we were on our way again.

Sam was ecstatic to finally be on the way again.

Cooper was pretty excited as well.

We left Cracker Barrel as the sun was coming up. According to the time stamp on the picture, this was at 6:47 AM.

The remainder of the drive was easygoing. The boys watched The Incredibles. I had told them that we would be at WDW by the time it was over, so they were pretty quiet for the ride.

Before long, we start seeing the signs for SR 429. I reminded Bryan that was the exit we were supposed to take. I let him know to take the next one. Anyone want to guess what he did????


He skipped it!!!! There was roadwork going, so he did not notice that the exit was set up before the one he was used to eaking. Luckily, Vader told him to take the next exit which ended up being a giant U-turn bringing us back to where he was used to turning.

It wasn't long before we saw this sign, and the kids started getting antsy!

Coming up, We get to our "home."

Boy, oh boy! CB's Hashbrown Casserole! I absolutely love it, too. It cannot be beat. Too bad you only get it once a year, though. Being a Southern woman all my life, I guess I am spoiled to having a Cracker Barrel at nearly every interstate exit.

I love seeing that sign that says "Disney World 1 Mile". Makes my heart do a little pitter patter!

It is absolutely fantastic! It sucks only having it once a year. I am a southern girl too. I have lived in South Louisiana all my life. However, Cracker Barrels are few and far between over here for some reason.

That is a fantastic sign. It gets me so excited every time I see it as well.

Oh! Megan you guys need to come visit us (we are just about an hour and 15 min I think that is what I remeber when I was going to meet you)...we have a Cracker Barrel in Hammond don't know how Hammond snagged one considering Baton Rouge and Slidell both have one! But we won't complain!
Maybe we need to plan a day for you guys to meet us up here and than Ashton & I could head down to Houma...nee to think of something fun to do!

I love that you guys were there when the doors open! we have managed to close the place but never open it!
