I feel the same way about Red Lobster. I can't believe how packed that place ALWAYS is when I drive by - umm hello people, we live 45 minutes from the coast. There are tons of local joints serving much fresher and better tasting seafood.
And there are several yummy places by that highway exit I could have directed you to! Guess we know for next year.

It's so hard to sleep when you know where you'll be heading to in the morning! I never sleep well the night before we reach WDW.

Cool!!!! So, where do you stop?

We usually stop on the far side of Lake City. There's a hotel (it's changed names and I can't remember it) but it is right next to the Waffle House. So of course we eat at the Waffle House before the last leg of the drive to Disney! Yummy!

Sorry for the restless night in your hotel. The beds do look very comfy, though! I'm always too excited to sleep right before Disney, too. It's so frustrating because you have all these wonderful visions of what is right around the corner, but you know you NEED the sleep and it just won't come! Arg!

I'm hoping that you made it to CB by six. I love that place!

Thanks! There's always a point in my day in which Spider-Man is trying to save me or defeat me. I live with a permanent force field on me. It just makes things interesting with him trying to defeat that field. LOL... I can never sleep when I know I'm going somewhere the next day.

The wait wasn't bad at all...maybe 10 minutes. When we sat, the restaurant wasn't even packed. There's just so many better options when you live along the Gulf.

Cool. Bryan actually admitted that he liked the overnight stop, so this stop in Lake City may become a new tradition for us.

Megan, I've followed your pure love for Cracker Barrel for a while now but never put my 2 cents in! I guess it's because I live in the Land of Cracker Barrels.........4 or 5 within 10 miles either way of me! I'm not too fond of it. Now, Ihop on the other hand I could KILL for!!! I will say that CB has biscuits that are killer and their sugar-cured ham is always good.....I bet if we didn't have so many so close I would love it too! I hope you made it at 6am.......
