First grade homework makes me want to DRINK!! Monday is the worst day of the 4 (no homework fri), because ds has math (which can be divided up into 4 days but we do it all on Monday to get it over with). The math doesn't take too long. Today was the first day he has had a spelling list, so he had to write the list of 10 (easy words) once in cursive and 3 times in print. Plus he has about 5 pages of reading every day. It hasn't been too bad until today (4th week of school) and the spelling lists.

I need a drink!

I know. But at least I won't have to sit there and do it with them. I just wish he had a bit less homework in first grade. I know that when we move and he switches to another school (probably 3rd grade), he will be ahead, and then may get bored. Most kids don't learn cursive in first grade.

OMG I can't believe it! Dh and I met and eloped with 2 other couples present after we knew each other only 5 1/2 months. Well come groundhog day it will be out 15th anniversary. Never had a honeymoon (per sey ) and now I may be booking a 7 day Carribean cruise tomorrow .. Of course we will take DD, due to the fact that my best friend of 24 years is going with her DH and son who is 8 months younger that DD and they are like cousins!!!
I can't believe it!!!!!!

ETA: Wait a minute, I never wanted to go on a cruise unitll I met you ladies and Froggy!
